Sorry for the lack of postings this week. This is the last week of the third quarter and I had a ton of papers and projects to correct. Grades aren't due until Tuesday morning but my aunt's funeral is Monday so I need to get everything corrected and submitted before I go home today. I think I am in good shape. I have a test and a set of papers for AP US History to correct today but I have a lot of free time today so I will get them done throughout the morning and afternoon.
I think tonight I am going to watch the Netflix movie that's been sitting on my TV for almost 2 weeks and have some red wine. I have nothing to do tomorrow so I am going to enjoy the next 48 hours or so. Then after that, reality will set in as my aunt's wake is Sunday and her funeral is Monday. She has been dead for almost a week now so people have been able to grieve but I think the floodgates will open up again this weekend. She was cremated so there won't be a body - that will be a first for me. I kind of hope it is your typical Irish wake - lots of laughs and memories, but also poignancy.
