The Democrats are warning Republicans that they better be careful about their votes for soon to be Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotamayor lest they offend Hispanic voters. Majority Leader Harry Reid is also annoyed with Republicans who dare argue against her nomination. But, when it comes to votes on justices, it is the Democrats who vote no the most often.
NPR has a list of the justices who received the most no votes since World War II. Of the ten on the list, nine were appointed by Republicans and one by a Democrat and that was in in 1949! The list is below and I added the presidents' names in bold:

John Roberts (for Chief Justice) -- 22 (confirmed 78-22, 9/29/05) - Bush 43
Potter Stewart -- 17 (confirmed 70-17, 5/5/59) - Eisenhower
