Can't miss TV

Tomorrow on PBS a new movie called "The Street Stops Here" is premiering. It's about a Catholic high school in Jersey City, NJ and its basketball program. I guess the school, St. Anthony's, has one of the best basketball programs in the state and it offers the students a path out of the city.

The trailer looks amazing. I am reading a book by the same name which is about a high school in Harlem called Rice High School. It too is a Catholic high school that is one of the only chances for the students in the area to make something of themselves.

As a Catholic school teacher, these have been incredibly inspiring for me. Check out the trailer for the movie:
